A body shop fixes a dent by filling and repainting. That typically runs 3 to 5 times the price, takes days instead of hours, and the repaint follows the car onto its history report, where CARFAX's own research shows a reported repair costs 10 to 25 percent of resale value.
PDR works the metal back from behind the panel until the reflection runs straight. The original paint never breaks. Nothing to report, nothing to fade differently in the Florida sun.
